TFC - 13 SEER Models
In category: Air Conditioning & Heating › Split A/C › Outdoor Cond. Unit - Cooling › The 2AC13 series condensers meet or exceed the January 2006 air conditioner efficiency requirements of 13 SEER. While there are numerous 13 SEER products available today, the Meridian and TFC 2AC13 products are unique. They utilize and all aluminum, micro-channel coil. Micro-channel technology is not new. It has been used in truck and automobile radiators and air conditioning condensers for half a century or more. The technology has proved itself to be extremely reliable on literally tens of millions of automobiles. Micro-channel coils are a more efficient heat exchanger than the commonly used coils with copper tubes and aluminum fins. A very visible example of this increased efficiency can be seen by examining the 2AC13 series 5-ton 13 SEER air conditioner. This 5-ton model is only 28.5 inches tall versus competitor 5-ton models that are from 50 to 60 inches tall. Other 2AC13 models are proportionately shorter. Micro-channel coils are not only more efficient than conventional coils, they are also stronger and more durable in nearly every application. This inherent strength makes them less susceptible to damage. The all aluminum coil construction is more resistant to corrosive environments such as coastal applications. The 2AC13 series air conditioners use reliable Copeland compressors and come standard with a factory installed filter drier. The louvered galvanized steel cabinet wrapper has an attractive powder painted medium gray colored finish. |

ABA 80% AFUE Multi-Position Gas Furnace
In category: Air Conditioning & Heating › Gas Furnaces › TFC -ABA series Furnaces are available in sizes from 40,000 to 140,000 BTUH input and can be installed in up-flow, down-flow, or horizontal applications. All models are only 31 5/8" tall, which makes it much easier to add the extra tall cooling coils associated with 13 SEER (and higher) installations. The ABA also features a smart self diagnosing system that monitors all operational functions. All furnaces are thoroughly run tested for 34 different operations before they ever leave the factory. Each component carries a 5 year parts warranty. The patented tubular heat exchanger, made of aluminized steel with a non-welded construction, promises years of trouble free operation, and is backed by a 20 year warranty. |

CSA/VSA Series 90% AFUE Gas Furnace
In category: Air Conditioning & Heating › Gas Furnaces › TFC - The VSA Series is designed for up-flow applications, and the CSA Series is designed for down-flow and horizontal installations. Furnaces are available in sizes from 54,000 BTU to 126,000 BTU input. 90%+ AFUE efficiency is achieved without a recuperative coil by the patented tubular heat exchanger. CSA/VSA furnaces are only 39 5/8" tall and 28 7/8" deep (width depends on furnace BTU). The CSA/VSA series also features a smart self diagnosing system that monitors all operational functions. Each furnace is run-tested for 34 different operations, and is covered by a 5 year limited parts warranty. The aluminized steel and stainless steel heat exchanger is backed by a 20 year limited warranty. |
